LandBank Developments (“LandBank,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “personal information” means information about an identifiable individual as defined under applicable privacy legislation.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit one of our contact, leasing, residential, development, or maintenance forms—or email us directly—we collect the details you choose to provide. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, the nature of your inquiry, and any message or property details you include.
Information collected automatically
We use a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand overall site traffic. It records only aggregate, non-identifying information such as which pages are viewed, the approximate region a visit comes from, and general device and browser type. It does not use tracking cookies, does not build advertising profiles, and is not used to identify individual visitors.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and route it to the appropriate LandBank team (for example, leasing, residential, development, or maintenance).
- To provide information about our commercial properties, developments, and available spaces.
- To send marketing or promotional communications—only where you have given us your consent to do so.
- To understand and improve how our website is used.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Consent
By submitting a form or contacting us, you consent to our collecting and using the information you provide for the purposes described above. Where we send marketing communications, we do so only with your express consent (in keeping with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation, or CASL), and you may withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. You may withdraw your consent to our use of your personal information at any time, subject to applicable legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers who help us operate this website and communicate with you—for example, our website host and analytics provider (Vercel) and our email-delivery provider (Resend). These providers process information on our behalf and are expected to safeguard it.
- Where required or permitted by law, such as to comply with a legal obligation or to protect our rights.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. Our analytics are cookieless and aggregate. Any cookies that may be used are limited to those necessary for the website or its content-management tools to function.
Retention
We retain personal information only for so long as necessary to fulfill the identified purposes or as required by applicable law and to meet our legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
Safeguards
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or use. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request a correction if it is inaccurate, and to withdraw your consent to its use. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
Third-party links
Our website may link to other sites, including the Elliston Village website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
